McNary School is currently in a modified lockdown. This means that students will not be able to go outside of the building. Regular school classes will still be held. This is due to the unsafe conditions around the counties.

Basketball Schedules for 2023-2024
All students will be released from school today, November 14th at 1:00PM due to the unhealthy air quality. Again, all students will be released at 1:00PM today.
This is a correction for the dance tonight, Thursday, November 9th. The dance will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. This dance is for 5th - 8th grades only. Sorry for the confusion.
Due to Veterans Day being on Saturday, November 11th, there will be school tomorrow, Friday, November 10th and Monday, November 13th.

The Volleyball Tournament at TR has an entrance fee: $2 for students (who are not playing) and $5 for adults.
The Awards Assembly for the 1st Quarter will be on Friday, September 29th at 10:30am. Come support your students with us.

It is with sad hearts that we must announce the cancellation of the Talent Show that was scheduled for this Thursday due to the lack of participants. We will have one later in the school year. Thank you for your understanding.

This is a correction to our previous post regarding the Fall Festival Parade. We will be taking one of our small buses decorated and having a walking procession instead of a float. Also, the restaurant location should be Los Corrales not El Charro. We apologize for the misinformation and look forward to seeing you at the parade.
McNary School will have a float in the Fall Festival Parade which will be on Saturday, September 23, in Pinetop. The school's Prince and Princess will be on the float surrounded by important symbols of our cultural heritage. Parents of students in grades 5-8 can sign waivers for their children to walk alongside the float. Please make sure you arrive with enough time to sign the needed waivers. Younger students may not participate due to safety concerns but are still encouraged to watch. The event will be starting at 10:00am near the El Charro restaurant (Pinetop-Lakeside location).
Students are required to be safe and respectful at all times, as they are representing McNary School.
